CWP Olympics Event One - Combat Championships

Event 1 - CWP Combat Championships

The Horde Battle Royal

All participants enter the assigned arena and fight to the death with no holds barred until only one remains to claim victory and the 10,000 Gold prize.

Rules

1. All players must use their main Guild character as specified in roster

2. Once dead no re-entry into the battle simply join the spectator ranks
3. Any Spell, ability or item may be used to help in battle

King Of The Ring

All participants compete in singles elimination battles until a champion is found and they claim the 10,000 Gold Prize.

CWP WoW Guild Message

Its been a great year of growth and success for the Guild this year with a full 3 raid groups hitting end game raiding with great progress and also tons of members helping build the guild into a great community. Well done all and although the Christmas period means a messy time for raiding dont worry it will be all back on track in the new year.

Some great guild events coming and a refresh of raid groups to take us back onto the path of victories !

First week of 4.3...

The first week of 4.3 is over and it have been a good one for the guild, apart from a few people not avable for raiding . We now have RG1&2 that downed 4/8 as well as RG3 killing 1/8.
All this has put us at a good server rank of 22... So i would like to say keep up the good work and see how the next few weeks takes us. Buzz

The Future...

We have had a lot of people confused on the future of CWP... Come the new expansion "mists-of-pandaria" there will be no big changes to the raiding groups that we all have done so well to build as a team over the past few patches and i can say on behalf of myself and fen that we are very proud that CWP are rocking at the top. However if you wish to change class/spec this would be the time to do so and we will try our best to make it so all members are happy. If you wish to do so please tell us ASAP so we can start planning.

Keep up the good work all and if you need any more help get hold of me or Fen.......

With three Raid Groups now farming Firelands and a 4th Raid Group forming the guild is gaining great momentum lets keep it going and when the next patch hits we are more than ready for anything the game throws at us !

In the days immediately following the Cataclysm, the Firelord Ragnaros and his minions attempted to ravage the world even further, pushing a damaged Kalimdor over the brink of oblivion. Their invasion was turned away at Mount Hyjal, but the threat of their presence lingers. It is not enough to simply deflect the danger posed to Hyjal, Nordrassil and all of Azeroth – it must be ended.

Get the picture ? New raids, Gear and instances etc.. So as always raiding may be affected with people having problems patching or the buggy new patch days we will see what we get on the night.

The Guild Master 1000G Challenge !!

Starting Today !! The CWP 1000 Gold Challenge.......

The rules are simple. Bring me the heads of Cho'Gall & Nefarion within 3 raiding weeks starting today.

The Challenges are as follows :

RG1 - You are commanded to combat and slay the dread Dragon Nefarion and bring me proof of death upon which I will reward the brave 1000 Gold bounty each. This is a once only offer so get it while the sword is sharp.

RG2 - You are commanded to combat and slay the fearful Ogre Cho'Gall and bring me proof of death upon which I will reward the brave 1000 Gold bounty each. This is a once only offer so get it while the sword is sharp.

There are only a few set rules as follows :

1. This must be a true Raid group guild run

2. Picture evidence must be supplied.

3. No cheeky photo shopping of images to fake result grrr.

4. Award goes to only those participating in the actual kill.

5. Competition ends in 3 raid weeks from now.

RG3 has begun and still needs some classes !

This week saw the first night RG3 Draft and was a good start for an as of yet fully formed group. A lot of new to raiding Guild members hit the ground running successfully downing the targeted Halfus Wyrmbreaker. Good progression onto other bosses in the hour planned gave us a good look at what is needed to fill this group.

SO if you are looking at a place in raiding the only thing delaying that is you contacting Fenris in game or simply post a comment here or on the forum !

Great job all on this fight RG1 and a couple of honourable mentions to the following :

Railtorn for swapping out to give us a much needed extra ranged .. This kill was for you brother !

Asuka for jumping in at a moments notice to fill in for Tumak.. He will be so Jealous lol

It also saw our first Live streaming of this event ( thanks to Maere ) which was viewed by quite a few people.

Oh and yeah we downed Chimaeron as well so now all that remains is Nefarion and Al'Akir GG all

WoW News : Done Fishing Finally .......

Finally after weeks of people fishing we had a mass Fishing raid and extinction level Rhino killing spree to give us this sought after achievement and the Seafood Magnifique Feast !

A big Grats and thanks go to all those that have contributed over the last few weeks and those that helped in the Grand CWP Fish Feast Raid that culminated in Jagerbomb winning the last fish caught prize !

A new addition to our World of Warcraft exploits.

Starting soon is a new organised PvP group within the CWP. Its Officer is Cenedra who is ready to sort out for rated battlegrounds and any other PvP action people want.

So Give her a shout if you have what it takes to join the "War Wolves" and take it to the enemy be they Horde or Alliance alike.

This group is open to all members of the CWP Guild so if you are in a raid group or not it doesnt matter simply join in.

You can also express if you are interested by commenting on this post here !
